1TV: Majority of the citizens of Afghanistan have called for change from the presidential system, a survey conducted by Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies revealed Tuesday. Out of the majority of people who voted in favor of change in presidential system, 28 percent proposed parliamentary system of governance where the executive branch derives its democratic legitimacy from the legislature including a prime minister. 23 percent called for semi-presidential system which means the PM is appointed to manage the civil service and execute the directives of the president.
