Tolo News: As the Afghan National Army (ANA) continues its offensives against insurgents in Qoshtepa district of Jawzjan province, soldiers on Friday managed to recover the heads of two ANA officers beheaded by the Taliban five days ago. Taliban captured ANA officers Rahmatullah and Fayaz from Qoshtepa five days ago and hanged their heads on a tree. Meanwhile, President Ashraf Ghani’s first VP general Abdul Rashid Dostum, who is leading a military campaign against the Taliban in the province, has slammed the Taliban’s beheading of the ANA officers as un-islamic and said that the Taliban has committed the atrocity on the orders of Pakistan’s intelligence agency—Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
