Live Mint: India has revised upward the cost of constructing the Afghan parliament because of pending “minor touch-up works”, with the Union cabinet on Wednesday giving its ex-post facto approval to the total figure of Rs.969 crore. The building in Kabul, part of a series of projects undertaken by India in war-torn Afghanistan, will be handed over to Afghan authorities by 31 March 2016, the government said.
