Two Cases of Polio Recorded in Afghanistan in 2022

Tolo News: Monday is World Polio Day, and even though polio has been declared eradicated worldwide, two positive cases of the virus have been recorded in Afghanistan since the beginning of the year. According to Sharaf Zaman, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), these positive cases were recently documented in Paktika and Kunar provinces.
