Khaama: The official said that an avalanche that hit a vehicle in Afghanistan’s northern Badakhshan province on Saturday resulted in two fatalities and six injuries. In the recent past, several people have died in freezing temperatures in Afghanistan, and about 70,000 livestock had also perished in the coldest winter in a decade in the country, officials said.
